The programme is by invitation. We give each promoter a personal link (vidwhale.com/?ref=yourcode). These terms apply alongside our Terms of Service.
A referral counts when someone opens your link and creates a VidWhale account within 30 days. Only a new account can become a referral: if someone already has a VidWhale account when they open your link, they are not counted. Your link is remembered in the browser it was opened in, so the account needs to be created in that same browser. If they opened another promoter's link first, that promoter is credited: the first click wins. A referral cannot be moved to a different promoter afterwards. You cannot refer yourself or an account that you control.
Each commission becomes payable 30 days after the invoice is paid. If the invoice is refunded, the commission is cancelled, or reduced in proportion to a partial refund. If the commission was already paid to you, the amount is deducted from your next payout.
We pay once a month, by PayPal or bank transfer to the details you give us, when your payable balance is $20 or more. A smaller balance carries over to the next month. Payouts are in US dollars, and any fees your bank or PayPal charges on receipt are yours.
Wherever you share your link, you must make clear that you earn a commission if people subscribe through it, as the platform you post on and the law where you live require.
We can change or end the programme, or remove a promoter, at any time. We may withhold commission earned through abuse, including self-referral, spam, misleading claims, bidding on our brand name in ads, or fake accounts. Commission already payable when the programme ends for a reason other than abuse is still paid.
